> O children of the Buddha! To the east of this Boundless Ocean of Fragrant Waters Adorned with Subtle Light, there is another ocean of fragrant waters named Blazing Treasury Free from Defilement. From it arises a great lotus flower called King of All Fragrant Jewels, Wonderfully Adorned. Upon it rests a world-system named Universally Illuminating Whirl of Realms, whose essence is the Roar of Bodhisattva Practice. At the very bottom of this system lies a world named Banner of Palatial Adornments. It is square in shape, rests upon an ocean of all jewels' adornments, and is covered by a cloud-net of lotus light. It is surrounded by as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, is purely clean, and its Buddha is called Eyebrow-Light Universally Illuminating. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Treasury of Virtuous Splendors. It is circular in shape, rests upon an ocean of all jeweled lotus stamens, and is covered by a cloud of pearl banners and lion thrones. It is surrounded by twice as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is called Wisdom of the Dharma-Ocean Without Bounds. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Wonderful Fragrant Wheel of Skillful Transformation. It is shaped like a vajra, rests upon an ocean of all jeweled adornments with bell-nets, and is covered by a cloud of various adornments and circular light. It is surrounded by three times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is called Light of Meritorious Marks Universally Illuminating. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Subtle Light of Beautiful Forms. Its appearance is like a wheel of mani jewels, rests upon an ocean of boundless colored-jewel fragrant waters, and is covered by a cloud of pearl pavilions of universal light. It is surrounded by four times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, is purely clean, and its Buddha is called Arising of Good Companions Universally Illuminating. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Well Covered by a Canopy. It is shaped like a lotus flower, rests upon a vajra ocean of fragrant waters, and is covered by a cloud of fragrant water light free from dust. It is surrounded by five times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is called Inexhaustible Wisdom of Dharma Joy. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Wheel of Shili Flower Light. It is triangular in shape, rests upon an ocean of all solid jewel adornments, and is covered by a cloud of light from bodhisattva mani crowns. It is surrounded by six times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is called Pure Cloud of Universal Light. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Adornment of Jeweled Lotuses. It is shaped like a half-moon, rests upon an ocean of all lotus adornments, and is covered by a cloud of all jeweled flowers. It is surrounded by seven times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, is purely clean, and its Buddha is called Pure Eye of Meritorious Flowers. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Adornment of Stainless Flames. Its appearance is like rows of jeweled lamps, rests upon an ocean treasury of jeweled flames, and is covered by a constant rain-cloud of fragrant waters and various body-forms. It is surrounded by eight times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is called Unsurpassed Wisdom-Power. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Subtle Brahma Sound. It is shaped like a swastika, rests upon an ocean of jeweled garment banners, and is covered by a cloud-canopy adorned with all flowers. It is surrounded by nine times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is called Vast Eyes Like the Pure Moon in the Sky. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Sounds as Numerous as Atoms. Its appearance is like an Indra's net, rests upon an ocean of all jeweled waters, and is covered by a cloud of jeweled canopies of all musical sounds. It is surrounded by ten times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, is purely clean, and its Buddha is called Golden Sumeru Lamp. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Adornment of Jeweled Colors. It is shaped like a swastika, rests upon an ocean of jewel-kings in the form of Indra, and is covered by a cloud of sunlit flowers. It is surrounded by eleven times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is called Light of Wisdom Reflecting Throughout the Dharma Realm. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Golden Wonderful Light. Its appearance is like a vast city wall, rests upon an ocean of all jewel adornments, and is covered by a cloud of jeweled flowers from the enlightenment site. It is surrounded by twelve times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is called Jeweled Lamp Banner Universally Illuminating. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Universally Illuminating Wheel of Light. It is shaped like a whirling flower, rests upon an ocean of whirling jeweled garments, and is covered by a cloud of jewel-king pavilions with the Buddha's voice. It is surrounded by thirteen times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, is purely clean, and its Buddha is called Lotus Flame Universally Illuminating. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Adornment of Jewel Treasuries. It is shaped like the four continents, rests upon a Sumeru adorned with jeweled necklaces, and is covered by a cloud of jeweled flame mani jewels. It is surrounded by fourteen times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is called Unfolding Flower of Inexhaustible Blessings. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Universally Manifesting Like a Mirror Image. Its appearance is like the body of an asura, rests upon a vajra ocean of lotuses, and is covered by a cloud of light-shadows from jeweled crowns. It is surrounded by fifteen times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is called Sound of Nectar. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Sandalwood Moon. It is octagonal in shape, rests upon a vajra ocean of sandalwood jewels, and is covered by a cloud of pearl flowers and mani jewels. It is surrounded by sixteen times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, is purely clean, and its Buddha is called Supreme Wisdom Unequaled in Dharma. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Light Free from Defilement. Its appearance is like a swirling stream of fragrant water, rests upon an ocean of boundless colored-jewel light, and is covered by a cloud of wonderful fragrant light. It is surrounded by seventeen times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is called Sound of Light Illuminating the Void Universally. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Adornment of Wonderful Flowers. Its appearance is like a spiraling form, rests upon an ocean of all flowers, and is covered by a cloud of mani jewels of all musical sounds. It is surrounded by eighteen times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is called Universally Manifesting Supreme Light. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Adornment of Supreme Sound. Its appearance is like a lion's throne, rests upon an ocean of golden lion thrones, and is covered by a cloud of lion thrones of multicolored lotus treasuries. It is surrounded by nineteen times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, and its Buddha is Called Praised for Boundless Merit, Universally Luminous. Passing beyond as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land above this, there is a world named Lofty Supreme Lamp. It is shaped like a Buddha's palm, rests upon an ocean of jeweled garment and incense banners, and is covered by a cloud of sun-wheel illuminated jewel-king pavilions. It is surrounded by twenty times as many worlds as atoms in a Buddha-land, is purely clean, and its Buddha is called Lamp Illuminating the Void Universally.

> Sons and daughters of the Buddha! To the south of this Sea of Fragrant Water named 'Blazing Treasury Free from Defilement,' there is another Sea of Fragrant Water named 'Wheel of Limitless Light.' Within it lies a World System named 'Adorned with the Banner of the Buddha,' whose essence is the sound of the ocean of all Buddhas' merits and virtues. At the very bottom of this system, there is a world named 'Flower of Attachment and Views.' It is shaped like a precious wheel, rests upon an ocean of jewel kings within a treasury of wish-fulfilling trees, and is covered by clouds of treasure that manifest in the form of Bodhisattvas. It is surrounded by as many worlds as there are dust motes in a Buddha-land, is purely clean, and its Buddha is named 'Lotus Light, Joyful Face.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Wondrous Sound.' Its Buddha is named 'Mount Sumeru, Lamp of Jewels.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Light Adorned with All Jewels.' Its Buddha is named 'Banner of the Sound of the Dharma Realm.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Vajra of the Fragrant Treasury.' Its Buddha is named 'Light of Sound.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Pure Wondrous Sound.' Its Buddha is named 'Supreme Power of Vigor.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Adorned with Precious Lotuses.' Its Buddha is named 'Dharma City, Sound of Clouds and Thunder.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Bestower of Peace and Bliss.' Its Buddha is named 'Great Renown, Lamp of Wisdom.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Stainless Net.' Its Buddha is named 'Lion's Light, Ocean of Merit.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Banner of Flower Groves, Pervasively Illuminating.' Its Buddha is named 'Great Wisdom, Light of the Lotus.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Immeasurable Adornment.' Its Buddha is named 'Universal Eye, Banner of the Dharma Realm.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Universal Light, Adorned with Jewels.' Its Buddha is named 'Wisdom-Surpassing Great Caravan Leader.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'King of Flowers.' Its Buddha is named 'Moonlight Banner.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Treasury Free from Defilement.' Its Buddha is named 'Pure Awareness.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Light of Jewels.' Its Buddha is named 'All-Knowing, Lamp of Space.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Producer of Precious Necklaces.' Its Buddha is named 'Light of the Marks of the Ocean of Blessings from All Perfections.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Wondrous Wheel, Universally Covering.' Its Buddha is named 'Taming All Clinging Minds, Causing Them to Rejoice.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Banner of Precious Flowers.' Its Buddha is named 'Vast and Extensive Merit of Sound, of Great Renown.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Immeasurable Adornment.' Its Buddha is named 'Ocean of Merit of the Light of Equal Wisdom.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named 'Banner Adorned with Limitless Light.' It is shaped like a lotus flower, rests upon an ocean of all jeweled nets, and is covered by a net of wish-fulfilling gems with lotus light. It is surrounded by twenty times as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, is purely clean, and its Buddha is named 'Pure Light of the Dharma Realm.'

> O Children of the Buddha! To the right of this Sea of Fragrant Waters, the Wheel of Endless Light, there is another Sea of Fragrant Waters named 'Vajra Jewel Flame Light.' Within it lies a World System named 'Adornment Treasury of Buddha Light,' whose essence is the sound of proclaiming the names of all Tathagatas. At the very bottom of this system is a world named 'Jewel Flame Lotus.' Its form is like the hair-tuft between the brows, radiant with the color of mani jewels. It rests upon an ocean of swirling waters of all jewel colors, is covered by clouds of adorned pavilions, and is surrounded by as many worlds as there are dust motes in a Buddha-land. It is purely clean, and its Buddha is named 'Stainless Jewel Light.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, is a world named 'Light Flame Treasury.' Its Buddha is named 'Unobstructed, Free Wisdom Light.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, is a world named 'Wonderful Adornment of the Jewel Wheel.' Its Buddha is named 'All Jewel Light.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, is a world named 'Banner of Sandalwood Tree Blossoms.' Its Buddha is named 'Pure Wisdom Light.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, is a world named 'Wonderful Adornment of Buddha-Lands.' Its Buddha is named 'Vast Sound of Joy.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, is a world named 'Adornment of Wonderful Light.' Its Buddha is named 'Wisdom of Freedom in the Dharma Realm.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, is a world named 'Boundless Form.' Its Buddha is named 'Unobstructed Wisdom.' Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, is a world named 'Banner of Flame Clouds.' Its Buddha is named 'Preacher of the Irreversible Wheel.' At the very bottom of this system is a world named Pure, Wonderful, and Level. Its form is like that of a jeweled body. It rests upon an ocean of light-wheels made of all jewels and is covered by clouds of various sandalwood, mani pearls, and genuine pearls. It is surrounded by as many worlds as there are motes of dust in a Buddha-land, all purely and singularly清净. The Buddha there is named Unshakable, Peerless Banner. Passing upward from here, beyond worlds as numerous as the motes of dust in a Buddha-land, there is a world named Blazing with Wonderful Adornments. The Buddha there is named Lotus Wisdom, King of Spiritual Powers. Passing upward from here, beyond worlds as numerous as the motes of dust in a Buddha-land, there is a world named Subtle Markings of a Wheel-Banner. The Buddha there is named Renowned in the Ten Directions, Light Without End. The Buddha there is named King of Merit-Jewel Light. The Buddha there is named Ocean of Limitless Blessed Virtue, Wonderful Adornments. At its lowest level, there is a world named "Pure Light Illumination." Its shape is like a string of pearls, and it rests upon an ocean of all kinds of jewel-colored pearl necklaces. It is covered by clouds of radiant mani jewels from the crowns of Bodhisattvas, and is surrounded by as many worlds as there are dust motes in a Buddha-land. It is purely and perfectly pure. The Buddha there is named "Supreme Merit Light." Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named "Wonderful Canopy." Its Buddha is named "Wisdom of Mastery Over Dharma." Above this, past as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land, there is a world named "Lion Throne of Jeweled Adornment." Its shape is like a half-moon, and it rests upon an ocean of mani flowers from Mount Sumeru. It is covered by clouds of the King of Blazing Light Mani Jewels of all adornments, and is surrounded by twenty times as many worlds as dust motes in a Buddha-land. It is purely and perfectly pure. The Buddha there is named "Pure Eye."

The world-system there is called the Radiance of Lamplight, which is grounded in the sound of the Dharma wheel that universally reveals the equality of all things. At the very bottom of this world-system lies a world called the Wheel of Jeweled Moonlight and Flames, which has the shape of all kinds of ornaments. It rests upon a sea of blossoming flowers adorned with all kinds of jewels, and above it are clouds shaped like lion thrones in lapis lazuli color. Surrounding it are worlds as numerous as the atoms of a Buddha land, all perfectly pure and undefiled. The Buddha there is called the Sun and Moon of Sovereign Freedom. Above this world, after passing through worlds as numerous as the atoms of a Buddha land, there is a world called the Radiant Light of Mount Sumeru's Jewels, where the Buddha is known as the Banner of the Inexhaustible Dharma Treasure. Above that, after passing through worlds as numerous as the atoms of a Buddha land, there is a world called the Banner of All Marvelous Light, where the Buddha is known as the Great Flower Assembly. Above that, after passing through worlds as numerous as the atoms of a Buddha land, there is a world called the Jeweled Light Blossoms of Mani, where the Buddha is known as the Most Supreme Being Among Humans. Above that, after passing through worlds as numerous as the atoms of a Buddha land, there is a world called the Universal Sound, where the Buddha is known as the All-Knowing Illuminator. Above that, after passing through worlds as numerous as the atoms of a Buddha land, there is a world called the Wheel of Boundless Marvelous Light, where the Buddha is known as the Oceanic Treasury of Great Power and Wisdom. Above that, after passing through worlds as numerous as the atoms of a Buddha land, there is a world called the Clear Vision of All Ten Directions, where the Buddha is known as the Banner of Perfectly Cultivating All Merit. Above that, after passing through worlds as numerous as the atoms of a Buddha land, there is a world called the Delightful Brahma Sound, which has the shape of a Buddha's hand. It rests upon a sea of jeweled light nets, covered by clouds of the majestic adornments of bodhisattvas' bodies. Surrounding it are worlds as numerous as the atoms of twenty Buddha lands, all pure and undefiled. The Buddha there is called the Unobstructed Light That Illuminates the Entire Dharma Realm."
