因僧問。洞山為甚麼立此五位。師云。也是閒家具。進云。如何又以他為宗旨。師云。你道佛祖之釘橛。是誰出得。復示以頌
邈得真來何正偏。好於功位揀邪禪。非功不破羣迷執。無位何銷眾智權。功位轉來明體用。正偏兼到別幽玄。當鋒殺活誰能搆。向上機關不可傳。

僧又問臨濟為甚麼立此三玄三要師云也是開眼尿牀進云悟此玄要旨者如何師云吹毛劒在甚麼處亦示以頌
