下品㡧像儀則品第六
Chapter 6: Rules for Lower Grade Scroll Icons
爾時，世尊釋迦牟尼佛復告妙吉祥童子言：「我今說彼第三下等㡧像祕密儀則。若有一切眾生懶墮懈怠不勤修習，於此㡧像隨喜瞻禮，亦能成就殊勝利益。若造㡧法則、所有修線、造㡧畫像加持，大體儀軌亦如前說。今此㡧內先畫妙吉祥，於師子座上結跏趺坐，為童子形諸相端嚴，光明普照作說法相。左邊畫聖普賢菩薩，坐優鉢羅華座，右手執拂、左手執如意寶，身作紫綠色。右邊畫聖觀自在菩薩，右手執拂、左手持蓮華，遍身光明。
「於妙吉祥師子座下至㡧緣畫金山。復於師子座右邊畫焰曼德迦忿怒明王，彼明王下畫持誦者，手執香爐亦如前說。於妙吉祥上畫開華王如來，彼佛身長十六指，坐寶山巖猶如樓閣。彼㡧四面俱有寶山，㡧上面山峯令高，於上虛空畫二淨光天子：一名清淨、二名妙淨，降雨種種香華，亦如前說儀則無別。今此第三下品㡧像有大增益，若諸有情經百千俱胝劫所作諸惡重罪，若能志心隨喜瞻禮，一切業障皆得消散。
「若復有人供養諸佛，經百千俱胝劫所得功德，不及依下品㡧法持誦之者十六分中一分功德。所以者何？此㡧像法勢力殊妙，所作所求皆得成就。復能降伏梵王仙人、水天日天，俱吠囉天、羅剎、財主、阿脩羅王、摩睺羅伽、月天、風天、焰魔天及那羅延等，以此㡧像真言皆來降伏。若求息災增益吉祥無不成就，若欲調伏破壞情物，不得用之，佛不許作。」
If there is a person who makes offerings to all Buddhas for hundreds of thousands of millions of eons, the merit they gain still does not equal even one-sixteenth of the merit gained by a person who upholds and recites according to the method of the lower-grade scripture-image. Why is this? The power of this scripture-image method is supremely wondrous; whatever you seek and request will be achieved. Moreover, it can subdue Brahma kings and sages, the Water God, the Sun God, Kubera, Rākṣasas, the Lord of Wealth, Asura kings, Mahoragas, the Moon God, the Wind God, Yama, and Nārāyaṇa, etc., for all come to be subdued by the true words of this scripture-image. If you seek to avert disasters, increase blessings, and bring good fortune, nothing will be unattainable. Yet if you wish to use it to harm or destroy beings or property, it must not be employed, for the Buddha has forbidden such use.
