This is what I heard:

At that time, the Bhagavān was in the Land of Bliss. Then, the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara came to where the Buddha was. He bowed with his head at the Buddha's feet, then withdrew and sat to one side.

At that time, the great and noble Bodhisattva Mahasri also went to where the Buddha was. She bowed her head at the Buddha's feet, then withdrew to one side and sat down.

At that time, the World-Honored One, wishing to benefit all beings with little merit and in poverty, beheld the Auspicious Goddess and said to Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva: "If any monk, nun, layman, laywoman, or any being of any kind knows these twelve names of the Great Auspicious Goddess, receives and upholds them, recites them, practices and makes offerings accordingly, and proclaims them for others, they will be freed from all karmic obstacles of poverty and obtain abundant treasures, wealth, and prosperity."

Then, all the heavenly beings, dragons, and the eightfold assembly in the gathering spoke in unison, saying: "What the World-Honored One has said is true and not false. We wish to hear these twelve names. We beseech the World-Honored One, with great compassion, to proclaim them."

The Buddha said: "Listen well, and I shall now proclaim them for you. They are as follows:"

Auspicious, Lucky, Lotus Flower, Adorned, Wealthy, White, Renowned, Radiant, Giver of Food, Giver of Drink, Jewel Light, Great Fortune.

These are the twelve names. You should uphold and recite them. I will now also proclaim these auspicious words:

Tadyatha, śrīṇi śrīṇi, sarva-kārya-sādhani, siddhi siddhi, araksa māṁ, naśaya, svāhā.

Then, the World-Honored One, having spoken this dhāraṇī, addressed Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva, saying: "This Great Auspicious Dhāraṇī and the twelve names can eliminate poverty and all inauspiciousness, fulfilling every wish and aspiration. If one can recite this scripture three times a day and three times each session, or continuously uphold it without interruption, and with a mind of benefit, sincerely make offerings to Mahāśrī Devī Bodhisattva according to one’s ability, one will swiftly obtain all treasures, abundance, joy, and auspiciousness."

At that time, Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva and the great assembly, including the eight kinds of divine beings and dragons, having heard from the Buddha these twelve names and the true words, marveled as never before, rejoiced greatly, and faithfully accepted and practiced them.
