### ▲天親菩薩

從彌勒內宮而下。無著菩薩問曰。人間四百年。彼天為一晝夜。彌勒於一時中。成就五百億天子。證無生法忍。未審說甚麼法。天親曰。祇說這個法。祗是梵音清雅。令人樂聞。

> From Within Maitreya’s Inner Palace, the Bodhisattva Asanga asked, “In the human world, four hundred years make just one day and night in that heaven. Within a single hour, Maitreya brings five hundred million heavenly beings to realize the patient acceptance of the unborn truth. May I ask what teaching he expounds?” Vasubandhu replied, “He only teaches this very teaching. It’s just that the Sanskrit tones are so clear and elegant that they delight all who hear them.”

薦福懷云。彌勒已是錯說。天親已是錯傳。山僧今日將錯就錯。與你諸人註破。良久云。諦聽諦聽。向下文長。付在來日。

> Master Huai of Jianfu Monastery said, "Even Maitreya spoke wrongly, and even Vasubandhu transmitted it wrongly. Today, this mountain monk will add error to error and explain it for all of you." After a long pause, he said, "Listen carefully, listen carefully. The text below is long. It will be continued another day."
