▲幽棲禪師。因僧為師造壽塔畢。師乃領眾看塔。即入塔內端坐云。一客不煩兩主人。便告寂。眾僧競喚云。和尚許多年住世。不可便即恁麼去。遂舁歸。主事辦齋了。師復上堂告眾曰。不得喚作是。不得喚作非。汝喚作甚麼。時有僧出。承聞和尚有言。不得喚作是。不得喚作非。未審喚作甚麼。師便珍重告寂。

> Master Youqi: A monk had built a life-span memorial pagoda for the Master. When it was finished, the Master led the assembly to view the pagoda. He then entered the pagoda, sat upright, and said, "One guest doesn't trouble two hosts." With that, he passed away. The monks all rushed to call out, "Master, you have lived in this world for many years—you can't just leave like this!" So they carried him back. After the steward had prepared a meal, the Master again ascended the hall and told the assembly, "You must not call it 'right.' You must not call it 'wrong.' What do you call it?" At that moment, a monk came forward and said, "I have heard the Master say, 'You must not call it right. You must not call it wrong.' I am wondering, what should we call it?" The Master then bid farewell and passed away.
