字悅道。年四十餘。擯去聲色。繫心宗教。會佛慧來居衢之南禪。公日親之。慧未甞容措一詞。後典青州。政事之餘多宴坐。忽大雷震驚。即契悟。作偈曰。默坐公堂虗隱几。心源不動湛如水。一聲霹靂頂門開。喚起從前自家底。慧聞笑曰。趙悅道撞彩耳。公甞自題偈齋中曰。腰佩黃金已退藏。個中消息也尋常。世人欲識高齋老。祇是柯村趙四郎。復曰。切忌錯認　臨終遺書佛慧。有曰。非師平日警誨。至此必不得力矣。
