> Chapter 315

如是我聞：

> Thus have I heard:

一時，佛住舍衛國祇樹給孤獨園。

爾時，世尊告諸比丘：「若眼生、住、轉出，則苦生、病住、老死出。耳、鼻、舌、身、意亦如是說。若眼滅、息、沒，苦生則滅，病則息，死則沒。耳、鼻、舌、身、意亦如是說。」

> At that time, the Blessed One addressed the monks: "When the eye arises, remains, and manifests, then suffering arises, disease remains, and aging-and-death manifests. The same is said for the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. When the eye ceases, calms, and passes away, then the arising of suffering ceases, disease calms, and death passes away. The same is said for the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind."

佛說此經已，諸比丘聞佛所說，歡喜奉行。
