### （三九四）

如是我聞：

一時，佛住波羅㮈國仙人住處鹿野苑中。

> Once, the Buddha was staying at the Deer Park in the land of Varanasi, where the sages dwelled.

爾時，世尊告諸比丘：「譬如日出，明相先起。如是正盡苦亦有前相起？謂知四聖諦。何等為四？知苦聖諦、知苦集聖諦、知苦滅聖諦、知苦滅道跡聖諦。」

> At that time, the World-Honored One addressed the monks: "Just as when the sun rises, the light of dawn appears first, so too does the complete ending of suffering have a preceding sign. What is that sign? It is the understanding of the Four Noble Truths. What are these four? Understanding the Noble Truth of Suffering, understanding the Noble Truth of the Origin of Suffering, understanding the Noble Truth of the Cessation of Suffering, and understanding the Noble Truth of the Path that Leads to the Cessation of Suffering."

佛說此經已，諸比丘聞佛所說，歡喜奉行。

如是知，如是見，如是無間等，亦如是說。
