> Chapter 686

如是我聞：

> Thus have I heard:

一時，佛住舍衛國祇樹給孤獨園。

> Thus have I heard: At one time, the Buddha was dwelling in the Jeta Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika’s Park, in Śrāvastī.

爾時，世尊告諸比丘：「如來有六種力。若六種力成就，如來、應、等正覺得先佛最勝處智，能轉梵輪，於大眾中師子吼而吼。謂處非處如實知，如來初力。」

> At that time, the World-Honored One said to the monks: "The Thus-Gone One possesses six kinds of powers. When these six powers are perfected, the Thus-Gone One, the Worthy One, the Fully Enlightened One, attains the supreme wisdom of the ancient Buddhas, is able to turn the sacred wheel, and roars the lion's roar among the assembly. That is, knowing truly what is possible and what is impossible—this is the Tathagata's first power."

「復次，過去、未來、現在心樂法受如實知……」如上廣說，「是名第二如來力。」

> Furthermore, as for the mind delighting in pleasant sensations in the past, future, and present, it is known as it truly is... as explained in detail above. This is called the second power of the Tathagata.

「復次，如來禪、解脫、三昧、正受如實知……」如上廣說，「是名如來第三力。」

「復次，如來過去種種宿命之事如實知……」如上廣說，「是名如來第四力。」

「復次，如來天眼淨過於人眼，見諸眾生死此生彼……」如上廣說，「是名如來第五力。」

「復次，如來結漏已盡，無漏心解脫、慧解脫……」如上廣說，乃至「於眾中師子吼而吼，是名如來第六力。」

佛說此經已，諸比丘聞佛所說，歡喜奉行。
