> Chapter 799

如是我聞：

一時，佛住舍衛國祇樹給孤獨園。

> Thus have I heard: At one time, the Buddha was dwelling in the Jeta Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika’s Park, in Śrāvastī.

爾時，世尊告諸比丘……如上說。差別者：「有沙門果。何等為沙門果？謂須陀洹果、斯陀含果、阿那含果、阿羅漢果。」

> At that time, the World-Honored One addressed the monks... as above. The difference is: "There are fruits of the contemplative life. What are the fruits of the contemplative life? They are the fruit of stream-entry, the fruit of once-returning, the fruit of non-returning, and the fruit of arhatship."

佛說此經已，諸比丘聞佛所說，歡喜奉行。

> After the Buddha had spoken this sutra, all the bhikkhus rejoiced in his words and faithfully put them into practice.
