### ○撫州踈山天霖澤禪師

> Fuzhou Shushan Tianlin Ze Chan Master

初住智門。後居天界第一座。升踈山。解夏上堂。九旬禁足以大圓覺為我伽藍。身心安居平等性智。釋迦老子舌頭拖地。趙州云。有佛處不得住。無佛處急走過。三千里外逢人不得錯好。猶較些子。如今截斷二途。剖破藩籬去也。須彌頂上走馬。大洋海底蹴毬。人人鼻孔遼天。一任隨緣去留。頌僧問巴陵話。珊瑚枝枝撑著月。三世如來同一舌。共工觸到不周山。女媧鍊石補天缺。終于踈山。

> First, he entered the gate of wisdom; later, he took the highest seat in the heavenly realm. He ascended Mount Shu and gave a teaching after the summer retreat: "For ninety days, we have observed strict discipline, taking the Great Perfect Enlightenment as our monastery. Body and mind are at ease, dwelling in the equality of wisdom. The tongue of old Shakyamuni hangs to the ground. Zhaozhou said, 'Where there is a Buddha, do not stay; where there is no Buddha, hurry past. When you meet someone three thousand miles away, do not make a mistake.' That still leaves some room. Now, we cut off both paths and break through the barriers: ride a horse atop Mount Meru, kick a ball at the bottom of the great ocean. Everyone's nostrils point to the sky; freely follow conditions, coming and going." He then gave a verse in response to a monk's question about Master Baling: "Coral branches hold up the moon; the Tathagatas of the three times share one tongue. Gonggong struck Mount Buzhou; Nüwa smelted stones to mend the sky's breach." He finally passed away at Mount Shu.
