達磨西來
Bodhidharma Comes from the West
馬祖大師示眾。其略云。達磨西來。傳上乘一心之法。令汝等開悟。又引楞伽經。以印眾生心地。
Master Mazu addressed the assembly, saying in brief: "When Bodhidharma came from the West, he transmitted the supreme one-mind Dharma, bringing you all to awakening. He also cited the Lankavatara Sutra as a seal upon the minds of all beings."
