復次，云何修定為得現法樂住？謂於四種現法樂住方便道中所有修定，及未圓滿清淨鮮白諸根本地所有修定。為顯修習未曾得定，是故世尊說初靜慮前方便道。云何修定為得智見？謂諸苾芻，於光明相，慇懃懇到審諦而取，如經廣說。當知此在能發天眼前方便道所有修定。此中天眼，於諸色境能照、能觀，說名為見。能知諸天如是名字、如是種類，乃至廣說，如勝天經，是名為智。云何修定生分別慧？謂諦現觀預流果向方便道中所有修定，或為修習諸無礙解。云何修定為盡諸漏？謂阿羅漢果方便道中所有修定。

The ability to know the names, types, and other details of celestial beings, as extensively described in scriptures like the \*Sheng Tian Jing\*, is called "wisdom." How does one cultivate meditation to give rise to discerning wisdom? It refers to the practice of meditation within the preparatory path leading to the direct realization of the truths and the attainment of the fruit of stream-entry, or for cultivating the unimpeded understanding. How does one cultivate meditation to exhaust all defilements? It refers to the practice of meditation within the preparatory path leading to the attainment of arhatship.
