復次，有四種能障斷法。一、無厭離，二、智未熟，三、散亂，四、沈下。應知慧眼，於作惡者說名為盲，於作福者說名有垢，於諸外道說名有翳。

> Furthermore, there are four obstacles that hinder liberation. First, lack of disenchantment; second, wisdom not yet matured; third, mental distraction; and fourth, dullness or lethargy. It should be understood that the eye of wisdom is called blind regarding those who do evil, is said to be stained regarding those who perform meritorious deeds, and is said to be clouded regarding those who follow outside paths.
