### 壬寅可觀法師入寂天台宗

> <note>Ren Yin</note>Master Keguang Passed Away<note>Tiantai School</note>

可觀。住延慶。復歸當湖竹菴。壬寅。無疾而逝。茶毗。烟所到處皆舍利。壽九十一。臘七十八。嗣法弟子宗印即北峰。鹽官陳氏子。年十五。具戒參學。得竹菴之道。隱雷峯毛氏菴。住華亭普光。秀州德藏。復遷華亭超果。蘇之北禪。移天竺靈山。嘉定六年行化。十二月日至松江。謂其徒曰。吾化緣畢此。右脇而逝。

> Keguan resided in Yanqing Temple, then returned to the Bamboo Hermitage in Danghu. In the year Renyin, he passed away peacefully without illness. When his body was cremated, relics appeared wherever the smoke reached. He lived to the age of ninety-one, with seventy-eight years of monastic life. His Dharma successor was Zongyin, also known as Beifeng, a native of Yanguan from the Chen family. At fifteen, he received the full precepts and devoted himself to study. He attained the Way of the Bamboo Hermitage and later lived in seclusion at Mao's Hermitage on Leifeng. He resided at Puguang Temple in Huating, Dechang Temple in Xiuzhou, then moved to Chaoquan Temple in Huating, and Beichan Temple in Suzhou. Later, he relocated to Lingshan Temple at Tianzhu. In the sixth year of Jiading, he began his teaching ministry. On a day in the twelfth month, he arrived at Songjiang and told his disciples, "My journey of teaching ends here." He then passed away lying on his right side.
