### 戒殺生偈

> Precept Against Killing

以心觀天地。天地伯仲同。以天地觀心。物方分雌雄。雌雄生強弱。強弱生戰攻。勝負不相下。互吞豈有窮。未窮能知變。口腹戒肥膿。

> When the mind observes heaven and earth, Heaven and earth seem equals, side by side. When heaven and earth observe the mind, Forms divide into yin and yang, male and female. From yin and yang arise strength and weakness, From strength and weakness arise conflict and war. Victory and defeat never yield to each other, Devouring one another—how could this ever end? Before this endless cycle, one can still know change: Restrain the mouth and belly, abstain from rich and fatty fare.
