> Dharma Friend Tongmian Visits Hongshan Temple

舉刀無可欲。斷足是何心。法雨千山潤。慈雲萬里陰。清泉還似昔。白血到於今。古碣迷荒草。同誰杖屨尋。

> Raising the blade, no desire remains— What heart could sever its own feet? The Dharma rain moistens a thousand hills; Compassionate clouds shade ten thousand miles. The clear spring still flows as in days past; White blood reaches even to this present. The ancient stele is lost among wild grasses— With whom shall I seek it, staff and sandals in hand?
