> Chapter 5: The Thousand-Armed, Thousand-Eyed Guanyin’s Thousand-Arm Total Compendium Seal

「起立並足，先仰右手掌，五指各相附，後以左手掌仰押右掌上當心著。此印力能摧伏三千大千世界一切魔怨。呪曰：

> Stand with feet together. First, raise the right palm upward with all five fingers close together. Then, place the left palm upward on top of the right palm, holding them over your heart. The power of this mudra can subdue all demonic forces and afflictions throughout the three thousand great thousand worlds. The mantra is:

「怛姪他一婆盧枳帝二攝伐囉耶三薩婆訥瑟吒四烏訶耶彌五莎訶六」

> Tadyatha: One — Avalokiteshvara, Two — the noble Lord, Three — all evils, Four — I bow before you, Five — may they be dispelled, Six — Svaha.
