> Chapter 21

諸比丘。彼八萬四千出家之眾。於毗婆尸世尊、阿羅漢、等正覺者所。出家受進具。〔如是乃至〕為時未久。心離煩惱。而得解脫。

> Monks, those eighty-four thousand renunciants who had gone forth, after not long in the presence of Vipassī, the Blessed One, the Arahant, the Fully Enlightened One, received the higher ordination. And before long, their minds were freed from defilements and attained liberation.
