Chapter 2: The Ten Precepts
我受持不殺生學處，我受持不與取學處，我受持不非梵行學處，我受持不妄語學處，我受持不飲穀酒菓酒學處，我受持不非時食學處。我受持不舞蹈唱歌音樂，不往觀聽學處，我受持不塗香，香花，薰香飾身學處，我受持不坐臥高廣大牀學處，我受持不受領金銀學處。
I undertake the training rule to abstain from killing living beings. I undertake the training rule to abstain from taking what is not given. I undertake the training rule to abstain from sexual misconduct. I undertake the training rule to abstain from false speech. I undertake the training rule to abstain from drinking alcohol made from grains or fruits. I undertake the training rule to abstain from eating at improper times. I undertake the training rule to abstain from dancing, singing, and music, and from going to watch or listen to them. I undertake the training rule to abstain from wearing perfumes, garlands, fragrant substances, and adornments on the body. I undertake the training rule to abstain from sitting or lying on high and large beds. I undertake the training rule to abstain from accepting gold and silver.
