### 示乘密顯禪人

> Guidance for All Vehicles: Esoteric, Exoteric, and Chan

學人日用。觀四大如影。觀目前如夢事。觀心如急流。觀動作如機關木人。觀聲音如谷響。觀境界如空華。作是觀時。無我我所。無動我者。無作為者。去來坐立。無起無止。應念無生。是名入無諍三昧。

> Practitioners in daily life should observe the four elements as mere shadows, see what is before them as dream-like, view the mind as a rushing stream, regard actions as those of a mechanical wooden puppet, hear sounds as echoes in a valley, and perceive all phenomena as flowers in empty space. When contemplating thus, there is no self and no possession of self, none who moves, none who acts. Coming, going, sitting, standing—all without arising or ceasing. Responding to thoughts without birth—this is called entering the Samādhi of Non-Contention.
