仰辱同體真慈。多方護念。向聞炎方。真同火宅。饑饉餓殍。枕藉道路。山野私念。極境窮荒。為道緣爐鞴。苟能假此鎔冶。塵垢消亡。精真獨露。斯實　聖恩所賜。良不負此生平。適足以報知己耳。又豈敢以逐境生情。重取法門之玷。幸為謝諸故人。仰惟炤攝。更願以道自重自愛。

> Facing the same body of true compassion, I am deeply grateful for your constant care and concern. I have long heard that the southern regions are like a house on fire, with famine and starvation causing corpses to litter the roads. In the mountains and wilderness, I reflect privately: even the most desolate and extreme places can serve as the furnace for refining the path. If I can use this opportunity to temper myself, allowing the dust and defilements to vanish and the pure essence to shine forth alone, this would truly be a gift of your sacred grace, and I would not have wasted this lifetime. It would be enough to repay those who understand me. How could I dare to let my mind chase after circumstances, further tarnishing the Dharma? I ask you to convey my gratitude to all my old friends. I look up to you with reverence and ask for your continued guidance. May you also cherish and protect the path, valuing and loving it deeply.
