Then the World-Honored One said to Ānanda: "Ānanda, there is a Supreme Great Bright King Mantra, which has been proclaimed by all the Buddhas of the past. Ānanda, the seventy koṭi Buddhas also rejoiced in proclaiming it. Now I, too, will expound it for the sake of all beings in future ages. Listen carefully.
Ānanda, if any good man or good woman wishes to hear, receive, uphold, or recite this Supreme Great Bright King Mantra, they must first purify their body and mind, take refuge in all Buddhas, all honored Dharma, and all holy assemblies. They should also take refuge in the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva Mahāsattva, and likewise take refuge in the protectors of the Sahā World, and all the devas who uphold the light. Having taken refuge in these Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and holy assemblies, they may then recite it."
Then he proclaimed the Supreme Great Bright King Mantra:

Hili hili hili hili hili hili hili hili hili, Huru huru huru huru huru huru huru huru huru, Jili jili jili jili jili jili jili jili jili, Mili mili mili mili mili mili mili mili mili, Jili jili jili jili jili jili jili jili jili jili, Juru juru juru juru juru juru juru juru juru juru, To all beings, may you attain the supreme path. "All those who bear malice, who harbor extreme hatred, who intend to inflict harm upon me or other beings—whether by causing illness, obstructing senses, blinding eyes, deafening ears, numbing the nose to scents, silencing speech, or binding every part of the body—let their schemes be thwarted. Whether they act themselves, incite others, or even rejoice in such deeds, may all their harmful intentions come to nothing."
