### 呼召天龍八部鬼神印第二十一

> Summoning the Eightfold Heavenly and Dragon Spirits Seal, Chapter 21

起立並足，先以左手大母指屈在掌中，四指把拳當心上著，次以右手亦如之，以右手在右耳邊，以頭指來去。呪曰：

> Stand up with feet together. First, bend the thumb of your left hand into the palm, and fold the other four fingers over it into a fist, placing it at your heart. Then do the same with your right hand, holding it near your right ear, and extend and retract your index finger. Recite the mantra:

「南無尼健陀上聲一南無阿利闍波陀去聲二馺婆訶三南無阿利闍羅馺婆訶四堙醯夷醯五馺婆訶」

> Namo Nigrantha\[note\]rising tone\[/note\]\[note\]1\[/note\] Namo Arya Candra\[note\]falling tone\[/note\]\[note\]2\[/note\] Svaha\[note\]3\[/note\] Namo Arya Loka Svaha\[note\]4\[/note\] Inhi Ihi\[note\]5\[/note\] Svaha

此呪印若善男子善女人受持讀誦者，知七世宿命，毒蛇不敢螫、毒藥自然除、刀不能害、王亦不能瞋，永劫不受地獄苦。若誦此呪時，二十八部鬼神來詣誦呪人邊，坐聽誦呪。若善男子善女人為鬼魅所著，以白縷為呪索，一遍一結，如是四十九結，繫其咽下，其病即除。若國內災疫流行國人死亡多者，當取國王園池中蓮華一百八莖，一華各呪一遍擲著火中，燒令蕩盡，災疫即除。

> If good men and women receive, uphold, recite, and study this mantra and mudra, they will know their past lives from seven generations back. Poisonous snakes will not dare to bite them, poison will naturally be eliminated, weapons cannot harm them, and rulers will not be angered by them. For countless ages, they will never suffer the torments of hell. When this mantra is recited, the twenty-eight classes of spirits and deities will come to the reciter and sit nearby to listen. If good men and women are possessed by ghosts or malevolent spirits, take white thread and make it into a mantra cord, tying one knot for each recitation, until forty-nine knots are made. Tie it around the afflicted person's neck, and the affliction will be cured. If an epidemic sweeps through a land and many people die, gather one hundred and eight lotus flowers from the king's garden pond. Recite the mantra once over each flower, then cast it into fire and let it burn completely away. The epidemic will then be eliminated.
