### 蘇悉地羯囉經諸物量數品第三十

> Chapter 30: Measurements and Quantities

「復次廣說成就物量成就物者，謂：身莊嚴具諸倚仗等種種衣服如世常法，所用量數應作成就。

> Further explanation: The quantity of objects to be provided should be arranged according to worldly customs—such as the number of garments, ornaments, supports, and various articles of clothing—which serve as adornments for the body.

「然欲成就雌黃法者，取末五兩為最上法、三兩為中法、一兩為下法；成就牛黃者，一兩為上、半兩為中、一分為下法；成就雄黃者，二兩為上法、一兩為中法、半兩為下法；若欲成就安膳那者，取三分為上、二分為中、一分為下；成就酥者，七兩為上、五兩為中、三兩為下；成就灰者，五兩為上、三兩為中、二兩為下；若欲成就欝金香者，量比雌黃。

> If you wish to succeed with orpiment (realgar), using five taels as the highest level, three taels for the middle level, and one tael for the lower level. For achieving success with cow bezoar (ox gallstone), one tael is the highest, half a tael is the middle, and one third of a tael is the lowest. For achieving progress with realgar (red orpiment), two taels is the highest, one tael the middle, and half a tael the lowest level. If you want to be successful with collyrium (eye medicine), take three parts for the highest level, two parts for the middle, and one part for the lower level. For achieving benefit with ghee (clarified butter), seven taels is the highest, five taels is the middle, and three taels is the lowest. For achieving results with ash (ashes used in rituals or medicine), five taels is the highest, three taels is the middle, and two taels is the lower level. If you wish to succeed with saffron (turmeric), use the same measurements as for orpiment (realgar).

「於安怛法說種種丸，欲成就者其數須隻，二十一丸為上、十四為中、七丸為下。

「於本法中諸物量少應加數，或依都量；或如本法；或世所貴尊，量數多少亦可依之。應觀念誦功力及觀同伴多少，應當具備如本尊恩眷境界許多任可成就。悉地之法有上中下，諸物數量亦復如是。

> In this practice, when the quantity of items is small, it should be increased. You may base the amount on a standard measure, or follow the text itself, or use what the world commonly values and respects. The quantity may also be adjusted accordingly. One should consider the effort of visualization and recitation, as well as the number of companions. Everything should be arranged in accordance with the majestic and compassionate presence of the principal deity and its retinue. The methods of attaining spiritual accomplishment are categorized as superior, middling, and inferior. In the same way, the quantities of the items used are also determined accordingly.
