### 如來授記印之四十一

> Chapter 41: The Seal of the Tathagata's Prophecy

「又以右臂屈肘當胸側，臂平伸，其頭指、中指、無名指、小指急把拳，其大拇指竪屈，頭去頭指側二分間。是一法印，過去一切如來、未來一切如來、現在一切如來皆以此印而授記莂。是故，智者當結是印，與諸有情授菩提記。印呪曰：

> Then, bend the right arm at the elbow and bring it to the chest, with the arm extended horizontally. Curl the index, middle, ring, and little fingers tightly into a fist, while the thumb remains upright and slightly bent, with its tip just two finger-widths away from the side of the index finger. This is a sacred mudra. All Tathagatas of the past, all Tathagatas of the future, and all Tathagatas of the present have used this mudra to confer the prophecy of Enlightenment. Therefore, the wise should form this mudra and bestow upon all beings the prophecy of Enlightenment. The mantra for this mudra is:

「『娜莫縒曼嚲一勃馱南二唵二合𤙖三虎二合𤙖四特騰色反二合梵蒲暗反五』

> "Namo Samanta Buddhanam Om Hrim Hrim Tram Svaha"

「是一印呪能成一切如來事業，以印呪力，生生常得念力、進力、戒定慧力、福勝蘊力，不為一切魑魅鬼神而嬈惱故。

> This single seal-mantra accomplishes all the deeds of the Tathāgatas. Through the power of this seal and mantra, one will always possess, in every lifetime, the strength of mindfulness, the strength of perseverance, the strengths of precepts, concentration, and wisdom, as well as the strength of abundant merit. And one will never be disturbed by any ghosts or spirits.
