### 如來大慈印之四十七

> Forty-Seven of the Tathagata's Great Compassion Seals

「准前脊印，又改押中指頭甲，出無名指頭押大拇指甲上。我為一切垢重有情說大慈印，令生慈心。我昔坐於菩提樹下，以大慈心持結此印得諸魔軍而自散伏。結此印者，應以一切佛力、法力、阿羅漢力、慈念心力持結此印，則得一切極重罪垢速皆消滅。印呪曰：

> Following the previous spine seal, now change the pressing position: press the tip of the middle finger, then let the tip of the ring finger press on top of the thumbnail. I teach this Great Compassion Seal for all beings burdened with heavy defilements, so they may develop a compassionate mind. In the past, when I sat beneath the Bodhi tree, I formed this seal with a heart of great compassion, and all the armies of demons scattered and submitted on their own. Whoever forms this seal should do so with the power of all Buddhas, the power of the Dharma, the power of Arhats, and the power of compassionate mindfulness. Then all extremely heavy sins and defilements will quickly dissolve. The seal's mantra is:

「『娜莫縒曼嚲一勃馱南二怛地儞也反他三炬䒱輕呼倪同上𩕳四盎烏浪反矩𭌆麼𭌆者五鉢二合喇拏捨嚩𭌆六𠻐乞灑𠻐乞灑摩二合𤙖牟甘反七矩摩𭌆室二合𭌆野八摩理泥奴計反九窣嚩訶十』

> Namas samanta buddhānām tadyathā: oṃ kuṇḍali maṇi jalāya, cakṣe cakṣe hūṃ, kuṇḍali śrīya mātale svāhā.

「是一印呪名如來大慈力呪，若有呪者，常起慈心。持此呪者，則當不為一切毘那夜迦、虎狼、怨賊、鬪諍、災難橫干嬈惱，以印呪力速證慈心三摩地故。

> This is the Seal Mantra known as the Tathāgata’s Great Compassionate Power Mantra. Those who recite it should always cultivate a compassionate mind. Whoever upholds this mantra will not be troubled or harmed by any obstacles, wild beasts, enemies, conflicts, disasters, or misfortunes. Through the power of this seal and mantra, they will quickly attain the meditative state of compassionate mind.
