### 一字佛頂輪王經證學法品第十二

> Chapter 12: The Method of Verification

爾時，世尊見知法界一切有情無明堅蓋，垢障纏惑，分割未盡，復告金剛密跡主菩薩言：「我為一切苾芻、苾芻尼、信男、信女等持此不可思議一字頂輪王印呪樂成就者，說所修行三昧耶門：應各持清淨戒，發菩提心，請阿闍梨作受法壇，灌頂授法，淨如法行，善根具足，依善知識，念修六念，善巧方便觀知真如實法、法界如虛空性，入深般若波羅蜜多，無二、無二行，心不放逸，口不妄語，常不卒暴、瞋惱、我慢、故相嘲誂、謗說有情，依學三世諸佛菩薩境界法行，善解分別，隨喜修習，不惜軀命，遠離人間，住阿蘭若，每日三時發菩提心，歸佛法僧，如法自誓受菩薩戒，憶持不忘，如所聽習思惟法義，修四攝法，塗掃佛塔，摩壇供養，發勤精進，心口唯一，內外清淨，住無住相，應常謙下恭敬和上、闍梨、同學，憐愍有情，了達密義甚深法門，恒樂精進，濟度有情，住於佛道，如是相應則得證成一字頂輪王法，於當來世身真金色，相好殊特，具不思議，純以七寶耳璫、環釧、花冠、纓珞而莊飾之，身相光明過百千日，映蔽眾相皆不現之。密跡主！如是證成一字頂輪王法，人眾見者皆大歡喜，如如意樹，所樂圓滿。

> At that time, the World-Honored One saw and knew that all sentient beings in the Dharma realm were covered by the solid lid of ignorance, entangled in defilements and confusion, not yet fully freed from separation. He again addressed the Vajra Secret Traces Lord Bodhisattva: "For all monks, nuns, faithful men, and faithful women who hold this inconceivable One-Word Wheel-Turning King mudra and mantra and wish for accomplishment, I will teach the samaya gate of practice: They should each uphold pure precepts, arouse the enlightenment mind, request an acharya to establish a Dharma-receiving altar, receive empowerment and the transmission of Dharma, purify themselves and practice in accordance with the Dharma, be complete in wholesome roots, rely on good spiritual friends, recollect and cultivate the six recollections, and with skillful means contemplate and understand the true suchness of reality and the Dharma realm's nature of emptiness. They should enter the deep Perfection of Wisdom, be free of duality and dualistic action, keep the mind without laxity, speak no false words, and never be abrupt, wrathful, arrogant, or given to mockery, or slander sentient beings. They should learn and follow the practice of the realm of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three times, understand and distinguish well, rejoice in and cultivate practice, not spare body or life, stay away from human society, and dwell in a forest hermitage. Three times each day they should arouse the enlightenment mind, take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, according to the Dharma make personal vows and receive the Bodhisattva precepts, remember and hold them without forgetting, reflect on the meaning of the Dharma as they have heard and studied it, cultivate the four means of gathering, clean and sweep Buddhist stupas, rub and prepare the altar with offerings, arouse diligence and effort, make body and speech single-minded, be pure within and without, dwell in the sign of no dwelling, always be humble and respectful toward their preceptor, acharya, and fellow students, have compassion for sentient beings, understand and penetrate the profound Dharma gate of secret meaning, always delight in diligence, save and ferry sentient beings, and dwell on the Buddha path. If they are in accord in this way, they will accomplish the One-Word Wheel-Turning King Dharma. In future lives their bodies will be truly golden in color, with remarkable and extraordinary marks, endowed with the inconceivable, adorned purely with earrings, bracelets, flower crowns, and necklaces of the seven treasures. The light of their bodily marks will surpass a hundred thousand suns, overshadowing all other marks so they no longer appear. Secret Traces Lord, when one has thus accomplished the One-Word Wheel-Turning King Dharma, all people who see such a person will be greatly joyful, and like a wish-fulfilling tree, all that they desire will be fulfilled."

「復次，密跡主！若有菩薩證此一字頂輪王法，心樂變化天諸美食施雨地獄一切有情則皆圓滿，亦得世間意樂喜滿。若有發心為諸有情修成一字頂輪王法者，十地菩薩亦不能障我此一字頂輪王法。

> "Furthermore, Secret Trail Master! If a Bodhisattva realizes this One-Syllable Crown Wheel King Dharma, and joyfully transforms into heavenly delicacies to rain down upon all sentient beings in the hell realms, they will all be fulfilled, and will also attain satisfaction of worldly desires and joy. If anyone arouses the intention to cultivate and accomplish the One-Syllable Crown Wheel King Dharma for the sake of all sentient beings, even Bodhisattvas of the Ten Grounds cannot obstruct this One-Syllable Crown Wheel King Dharma of mine."

「密跡主！是呪於諸呪中而最為上，若成就者，菩薩萬行悉皆圓滿，所有十重一切罪垢地獄之報悉皆除滅，獲諸神通，一剎那頃即遍遊往阿迦尼吒天，行菩薩行，得一切佛、菩薩、獨覺、聲聞、諸天喜見讚歎。若欲遊往無量無邊一切世界導化眾生，隨彼言音說諸法者，亦皆遊往無量無邊種種世界，隨所世界現種種身，皆得端好，隨其形類言詞靡特悉皆圓滿。」

> "Lord of the Secret Traces! This mantra is the most supreme among all mantras. If one accomplishes it, all the myriad practices of a Bodhisattva are completely fulfilled, all ten layers of karmic defilements and hellish retributions are entirely eradicated, and one gains all supernormal powers. In a single instant, one can travel throughout the Akanishtha Heaven, practice the Bodhisattva path, and be joyfully beheld and praised by all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Solitary Realizers, Voice Hearers, and heavenly beings. If one wishes to travel to infinite and boundless worlds to guide and transform living beings, and to teach the Dharma according to their languages and voices, one can likewise journey to infinite and boundless worlds of every kind. In whatever world one appears, one manifests various forms, all of them handsome and well-favored, and in accordance with each type of being, one's speech and expression are wholly perfected."

是時如來重說頌曰：

> At that time, the Tathagata spoke again in verse:

「成就頂輪王法人， 相好超特那羅天。諸呪仙天大威者， 各手執劍、若青蓮，相鬪紛騰如雲轉， 威光勇奕映空天，若遇頂王法呪人， 咸心息伏等投然。

「密跡主！我今復為一切呪者略說三種地成就處：一者上地，二者中地，三者下地，淨、不淨處。如是三地各復有三，智者善知。言上地者，所謂天上有三勝地成上悉地；言中地者，謂大河、沜海、沜山中，如是三地成中悉地；言下地者，謂大泉池有蓮華處、多花菓林處、屍陀林處，如是三地成下悉地。一切呪法亦如是說，若惡國王處、多賊難處、雜惡同伴、饑饉等處皆不同住、修治作法。所修治法復有三時不可修習，善分別知：一、極熱時，二、瀑雨時，三、極寒時，不於是時修治大法。日修治法復有三時，善分別知：一、從五更至日晨時，二、從午時至日未時，三、從酉時至夜亥時，如是時中誦念作法皆得圓滿。」
