The *Prajñāpāramitā Heart Sutra Opening and Elucidation* is a commentary by the Ming Dynasty monk Hongli on the core Buddhist scripture, the *Prajñāpāramitā Heart Sutra*. Ming Dynasty Buddhism emphasized the integration of doctrinal study with practical cultivation, and this commentary emerged within this context. Through a line-by-line exegesis, Master Hongli clearly and profoundly explains the sutra's core teaching of the Wisdom of Emptiness—that all five aggregates are empty and can liberate one from all suffering. This work not only aids devotees in understanding this classic, which condenses the essence of Mahayana Buddhism, but more importantly, it guides readers in applying this Wisdom to their own spiritual practice. As one of the important commentaries on the *Heart Sutra*, it is a significant text for studying Ming Dynasty Buddhist thought and the history of the sutra's reception, holding a distinct place within the transmission of Buddhist doctrinal studies.

No. 550-A心經開度說
