### 四明圖經紀宣靖公祠

皇朝故丞相魯國曾宣靖公公亮。祠堂在縣南三里半延慶寺。按天聖中楚國公曾會。守明州。丞相方毓德侍下。一日游延慶。而主僧法智大師知禮。夜夢伽藍神告之曰。翌日相公來可恭迓之。知禮異其事。戒閽人。以來者告。已而魯公至。禮以夢告。魯公曰。烏有是哉。然默記于方寸。至大拜而以知禮之夢為然。於是請于朝。置田闢舍。大啟法席。延慶之名。始播于天下。寺僧圖其像。而祠之。碑碣具存。

> The late chancellor of the court, Duke Xuanjing of Lu,<note>Gongliang</note>, had his ancestral hall located three and a half li south of the county, at Yanqing Temple. According to records, during the Tiansheng era, the Duke of Chu<note>Zeng Hui</note> was serving as the governor of Mingzhou. At that time, the chancellor was still a youth accompanying his father. One day, while visiting Yanqing Temple, the chief monk, Master Fazhi<note>Zhiliao</note>, had a dream the night before in which the temple guardian spirit told him: "Tomorrow, the chancellor will come; you must respectfully welcome him."<note>Zhiliao</note>, finding this extraordinary, instructed the gatekeeper to report any visitor who arrived. Soon, the Duke of Lu arrived, and the monk told him of the dream. The Duke of Lu said, "How could such a thing be?" Yet he silently noted it in his heart. When he later rose to the position of grand chancellor, he came to believe in the truth of<note>Zhiliao</note>'s dream. Thereupon, he petitioned the court, donated land, and built facilities, greatly expanding the temple's influence. The fame of Yanqing Temple began to spread throughout the realm. The monks painted his portrait and enshrined it in the hall, and the inscriptions on the steles still remain to this day.
