東京講經律文章應制箋注御集沙門無象上

半世江城住 群迷久質疑行深同劫鍊 誓極把身遺犀柄風生遠 猊臺目下遲今翰長洪農貳卿聞師有捐軀之誓故發簡書請留住世乃有此句鼇宮屢飛簡 留作教中師

> Half a lifetime spent in riverside towns, Many who were lost long questioned their doubts. Deep practice, refined through countless eons, Vows taken to the utmost, offering the body away. The rhino-handled whisk stirs wind far and wide, The lion's throne gaze lingers, slow to depart. Now the esteemed minister, hearing of the master's vow to give up the body, sent letters urging him to remain in the world—hence these lines. From the turtle palace, letters fly again and again, Keeping you here as a teacher within the Dharma.
