### 六祖禪師頌

> Sixth Patriarch's Zen Master's Verses

大圓鏡智性清淨 平等性智心無病妙觀察智見非功 成所作智同圓鏡五八六七果因轉 但轉其名無實性若於轉處不留名 繁興永處那伽定

> The Great Mirror Wisdom's nature is pure and clear, The Wisdom of Equality has a mind free from flaws. The Wisdom of Subtle Observation sees without effort, The Wisdom of Perfect Accomplishment mirrors the Great Mirror. The five and eight, the six and seven, transform from cause to fruit, Only the names change, not the true nature. If in transformation, no name remains, Amidst all activity, one abides forever in the dragon's stillness.

如來無虗妄應供良福田正徧知知法界明行足具三明善逝不來還世間解無上士無二世間。國土世間。眾生世間調御丈夫能調伏眾生身心惡天人師能為眾生作眼目佛知善法聚不善法聚非善法聚非不善法聚世尊二世之中無二佛。

> The Tathagata is the one of true reality, the worthy recipient of offerings, the supreme field of merit. He is the perfectly awakened one, with complete knowledge of the Dharma realm. He is endowed with wisdom and virtuous conduct, possessing the threefold knowledge. He is the one who has gone well, never to return. He is the knower of the world, the unsurpassed one, understanding the two realms of existence: the realm of sentient beings and the realm of the physical world. He is the trainer of beings, able to subdue the afflictions of body and mind. He is the teacher of gods and humans, providing guidance and clarity to all beings. He is the Buddha, who discerns what is wholesome, unwholesome, and what lies beyond both. He is the World-Honored One, for there is no second Buddha in the world.

十號圓明　萬行具足　天龍戴仰　稱無上尊。

> Perfectly Enlightened, complete in all virtues, revered by gods and dragons, hailed as the Supreme One.
