### 繞塔

> Circling the Stupa

僧祇中。禮佛不得如瘂羊。又禮佛塔。應當右旋。如日月星繞須彌山。不得左旋。旋繞有五事。一低頭視地。二不得踏蟲。三不得左右視。四不得睡地。五不與人語。又得五福。一後世得端正好色。二得好音聲。三得生天上。四生王侯。五得泥洹道。

> <note>In the monastic community, when paying respect to the Buddha, one should not be like a mute sheep \[silent and unmoving\]. Also, when venerating a Buddha stupa, one should circumambulate to the right, just as the sun, moon, and stars orbit Mount Sumeru. One must not circumambulate to the left. Circumambulation involves five practices: 1. Keep your head lowered and eyes on the ground. 2. Do not step on living creatures. 3. Do not look left or right. 4. Do not spit on the ground. 5. Do not converse with others. Furthermore, one gains five blessings: 1. In future lives, one will have an attractive appearance. 2. One will have a pleasant voice. 3. One will be reborn in heavenly realms. 4. One will be born into nobility. 5. One will attain Nirvana.</note>

右繞於塔 當願眾生 所行無逆 成一切智

> Circumambulating the stupa, May all beings, In their actions, never go against the Dharma, And attain all-encompassing wisdom.

南無三滿多。沒駄喃。唵。杜波杜波娑婆訶三徧

> Homage to all-pervading Buddhas. Om. Let the offering smoke arise, arise. So be it.<note>Repeat three times</note>
