雲根架就咲談中。凡聖如今一路通。箇箇脚跟親蹈著。人人足下起清風。不似天台滑石半𡾟半嶮。勝如趙州略彴度馬度驢。雖然欲行千里。要知一步為初。從茲不用頻題柱。來往都乘駟馬車。

> Cloud-rooted bridges built amidst laughter and conversation. Ordinary and sage now share one open road. Each one’s heels step firmly on the ground, Each person’s feet raise a gentle breeze. Unlike Tiantai’s slippery stones—half unstable, half steep— Better than Zhaozhou’s narrow plank—where horses and donkeys cross. Though one may wish to travel a thousand miles, Know that the first step is where it begins. From now on, no need to carve pillars to mark the way— All who come and go ride in four-horse chariots.
