於驕反說文󵦂巧也又女子壯㒵淑好也下又作艶同餘贍反方言秦晉之閒謂美為𧰟𧰟光也。姑伀

> Arrogance and flattery—one is a skilled trick, the other a display of a woman's robust beauty and charm. The word for "charm" below is also written as "艳," sharing the same sound. According to local dialects, in the regions of Qin and Jin, "beautiful" is called "yan." "Yan" means radiance. (This refers to a temporary, deceptive radiance.)

故胡反白𮓜通曰姑者故也故老人之稱也說文姑母也下之容反𥼶名俗謂舅章曰伀言是己所敬見之伀遽自肅齊。

> Therefore, "Hu Fan Bai Tu" stated: "Gu" means old, so it is a term for elderly people. According to the Shuowen Jiezi, "Gu" also means mother. The pronunciation is "Xia Zhi Rong Fan." The Shiming says: common people refer to their husband's father as "Zhong," meaning that this person is someone they respect; when seeing him, they immediately straighten themselves and become respectful.
