### 明懺悔法

既禮佛竟。正身威儀。虔敬互跪右膝箸地。燒諸名香。存想普賢菩薩。無量莊嚴眷屬圍遶。為懺悔主。如對目前。一心一意生鄭重慚愧。發露無量劫來六根三業所造一切惡業。斷相續心。從於今時盡未來際。終不更造。所以者何。業性雖空。果報不失。是故行者發露懺悔。願罪消亡。廣儀云。懺悔總除三障。得依正二報具足。應一心念言。我與眾生無始所作一切罪障。惟願三寶哀愍拔濟。頓袪愚業翻作淨因。身心齊空罪福無主。了見真性等佛法身。三業罪𠎝成三解脫。六根重障翻作六通。次唱云。

> After paying homage to the Buddha, he straightens his posture with dignity and reverence, kneeling with his right knee on the ground. He burns fragrant incense, visualizing Bodhisattva Samantabhadra surrounded by countless majestic attendants, serving as the witness to his repentance, as if present before his eyes. With full concentration and a heart of solemn shame, he openly confesses all evil deeds committed through the six senses and three actions throughout countless eons, resolving to cut off the continuity of such deeds from this moment until the end of future time, never to commit them again. Why? Although the nature of deeds is empty, their retribution does not disappear. Therefore, the practitioner openly confesses and repents, wishing that their sins dissolve. According to the extensive ritual, repentance completely removes the three obstructions and enables the attainment of both the direct and circumstantial rewards in full. One should earnestly think: "All the obstacles and sins that I and all sentient beings have accumulated since beginningless time—I only wish that the Three Jewels, with compassion, rescue and deliver us, instantly dispelling ignorance and turning it into pure causes. Body and mind are both empty, and sin and blessing have no owner. Clearly see the true nature, equal to the Dharma body of the Buddha. The sins of the three actions become the three liberations, and the heavy obstructions of the six senses transform into the six supernormal powers." Next, he chants:

普為四恩三有及法界眾生。悉願斷除諸障。歸命懺悔。　唱已。起禮一拜。當運逆順十心。

復念清涼偈云。

自從無垢起無明 亦值惡友增我情無隨喜心善永滅 縱自語意惡漸生心心徧布觸所染 念念相續日夜營不欲人知藏過失 不畏惡道任縱橫無慚無愧魔羅網 撥因撥果闡提坑如是順流背本已 生死苦海浩然盈幸識由來長者子 今欲逆流捨貧里正信因果破闡提 慚愧人天破無知恐怖惡道破不畏 發露罪業破覆玼斷相續心破常念 發菩提心破徧起修功補過破縱恣 守護正法破無喜念十方佛破惡友 觀罪性空破結使

> From the very beginning, ignorance arose from impurities, And I encountered harmful friends who only intensified my restless feelings. Without a mind of rejoicing, goodness was forever extinguished, And gradually, through my own words and thoughts, evil began to grow. Mind after mind, I was stained by every touch, Thought after thought, I labored day and night in continuation. I hid my faults, unwilling to let others know, And feared not the evil paths, letting myself roam unchecked. Without shame or remorse, I was caught in Mara's net, Denying causes and effects, I fell into the pit of the icchantika. Thus, flowing downstream, I turned my back on my true nature, And the vast ocean of birth-and-death suffering overflowed. Fortunately, I came to recognize the elder's son within, And now I wish to swim against the stream, abandoning this impoverished home. With right faith in causes and effects, I break the icchantika's grip, With shame and remorse before gods and humans, I shatter ignorance. With fear of the evil paths, I overcome my fearlessness, By openly revealing my transgressions, I break the habit of concealment. By cutting off the continuity of thoughts, I break the constant clinging, By arousing the bodhi mind, I break the arising of scattered thoughts. By cultivating merit to mend my faults, I break my reckless indulgence, By upholding the true Dharma, I break the lack of rejoicing. By recollecting the Buddhas of the ten directions, I break the influence of harmful friends, By contemplating the emptiness of the nature of transgressions, I break the binding fetters.

上之六偈。初三順生死心以為所治。後三逆生死心從後翻破。應當熟誦默念。次作是言。

我比丘某甲至心懺悔。稽首歸命十方三世無盡三寶。證知護念。我與法界一切眾生。自從無始曠大劫來。無明覆心迷自佛智。妄識造業生死輪迴。背佛法僧隨惡師友。眼根著色為恩愛奴。不覩如來法身周徧。耳貪聲境賊害無窮。不聞如來圓音說法。鼻貪香氣結使是生。功德玅香不能齅覺。舌貪眾味餐噉眾生。妄語．綺語．兩舌．惡口毀謗三寶凌辱二親。豈餐如來甚深法味。身根著觸耽染無窮。晝夜荒迷不知止足。徧造諸惡行殺盜淫。諸佛慈光不能照燭。意根著法觸境攀緣。念念常生貪瞋邪見。一切三障業。備造諸非。三障十纏相牽不斷。起四顛倒作一闡提。不老尊親無慚無愧。十惡四重五逆七遮。自作教佗見作隨喜。一惑纔起百萬障開。展轉無窮備障眾善。不能發起大菩提心。不能修行一切善法。長夜受苦無有厭心。如是等𠎝唯佛知覺。今悉懺悔。斷相續心。矧此罪障但顛倒生。無有定實本來空寂。唯願盧舍那佛．普賢菩薩慧日垂光。銷我身心業惑霜露。慈風普振摧重障山。法水長流洗我心垢。惟願我等罪根消滅。速達本心。法界眾生同得清淨。

懺悔已。歸命禮盧舍那佛一切三寶。

餘之四法皆依此。但改勸請等為異。
