### 若禮塔繞塔偈云

> Verse on Circumambulating a Stupa

頂禮於塔 當願眾生 一切天人 無能見頂繞塔三帀 當願眾生 勤求佛道 心無懈歇

> Bowing in reverence to the stupa, May all beings, With all celestial beings and humans, Never see its summit. Circumambulating the stupa three times, May all beings, Diligently seek the Buddha's path, With a heart that never tires or rests.

南無三滿多沒駄喃唵度波度波莎訶七遍

> Homage to all the Enlightened Ones. Let the bright light purify all obstructions, let it completely purify. The sound of the mantra purifies the offerings for the Buddhas. (Recite seven times)

禮拜讚歎已然後持誦一一發願回向西方決生上上品比丘不得通肩著袈裟禮佛塔廟等死墮鐵甲地獄故除坐禪受食通肩不犯通肩者通披兩肩也又比丘不得披禪衣禮佛乃至尊宿以及佛塔廟前經行死墮龜鱉黿鼉之類故慎之慎之。

> After bowing and reciting praises, one should then chant with sincere aspiration, dedicating the merits to rebirth in the Western Pure Land, ensuring birth in the highest grade. Monks must not wear their robes draped over both shoulders when bowing to Buddha or stupas; doing so will cause them to fall into the Armor-of-Iron Hell. (<note>"Draped over both shoulders" means wearing the robe covering both shoulders.</note>) This exception does not apply during seated meditation or when receiving offerings of food, as these practices do not constitute an offense. Furthermore, monks must not bow to Buddha, eminent elders, or stupas while wearing their meditation robes. Likewise, they should not walk in front of stupas while wearing such robes; doing so will cause them to be reborn as turtles, soft-shell turtles, or alligators. Therefore, be cautious and careful.
