The "Collection of Twelve Sutras" is a compilation of Buddhist scriptures authored by the eminent Qing dynasty monk Jingting. Completed during the Kangxi era of the Qing dynasty, Venerable Jingting was a monk of the Linji school, well-versed in Buddhist texts. This work includes twelve important sutras, such as the *Diamond Sutra* and the *Heart Sutra*, accompanied by concise commentaries to aid practitioners' understanding. Its content encompasses the teachings of Prajna, Pure Land, and Chan Buddhism, reflecting the core doctrines of Mahayana Buddhism. Widely influential within Buddhist circles during the Qing dynasty, it was regarded as a practical guide for Buddhist study and practice. To this day, it remains an important text for the study of Chinese Buddhism, holding significant value for both academic research and spiritual cultivation.
