### 誦經完滿

> Sutra Recitation Complete

恭轉契經幸成圓滿之行。䖍陳法務庶作究竟之功。抒誠已竭于一心。昭告敢辭于三瀆。　切念某是名凡夫未離業網。黑愆滋于識浪寡之未能。白法障于迷關成之弗逮。幸逢聖典獲竭鄙誠。是以先於某年某月某日啟誦某經。迄今諷誦告完。敬涓某月某日啟建完經植福道場。修禮梁皇慈悲道場懺法幾部。敘佛事伏願入不二門。遊莊嚴海。娑婆穢土潛消五濁之根。極樂淨󳬛早下九蓮之種。更祈介爾景福錫之天年。釀作一門之休。衍為奕世之慶。○契經

> I now begin the sacred work of faithfully turning the sutra, hoping to complete the path of perfect conduct. With devotion I arrange the Dharma service, seeking to achieve ultimate merit. I pour out my sincerity with single-minded concentration, and in this proclamation, I dare not treat the Three Jewels lightly. I reverently reflect that I\[\_\_Note\_\_\], though called an ordinary person, have not yet escaped the net of karma. Dark faults grow in the waves of consciousness; I cannot remove them. The pure Dharma is blocked by the gate of confusion; I am unable to realize it. Fortunately, I have encountered this sacred scripture and can exhaust my humble sincerity. Therefore, I first began reciting the Sūtra\[\_\_Note\_\_\] on the \[\_\_Note\_\_\] day of the \[\_\_Note\_\_\] month in the year \[\_\_Note\_\_\], and now the recitation and chanting are complete. With respect, I select the \[\_\_Note\_\_\] day of the \[\_\_Note\_\_\] month to establish a completed-sutra, merit-cultivating Dharma assembly. I cultivate and practice several sections of the Emperor Liang's Compassionate Repentance Dharma Method.\[\_\_Note\_\_ Provide list of Buddhist activities\] I humbly pray to enter the non-dual Dharma gate and roam the ocean of adornment. May the defiled Sahā world silently dissolve the roots of the Five Turbidities. May the pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, Sukhāvatī, early plant the seeds of the Nine Lotuses. Furthermore, I pray that these vast blessings and heavenly longevity be bestowed, brewing them into a single family's good fortune, extending them as blessings for generations to come. ○ Sūtra.

名義集云。梵語修多羅。此云契經。謂契理合機之教。○三凟

> The Book of Changes says in the Hexagram of Meng (Youthful Ignorance): "Youthful ignorance has success. It is not I who seeks the young and ignorant; the young and ignorant seek me. At the first divination, I give an answer. If they ask repeatedly, it becomes annoyance. When annoyed, I do not answer. Perseverance is beneficial." ○ The Emperor Liang Repentance Dharma

統紀云。梁帝初為雍州刺史時。夫人郗氏性酷妬。既亡。至是化為巨蟒。入後宮通夢於帝求拯拔。帝閱佛經為製慈悲道場懺法十卷。請僧懺禮。夫人化為天人。空中謝帝而去。○介爾景福

> Historical records say: When Emperor Liang was first appointed as the Governor of Yongzhou, his wife, Lady Xi, was extremely jealous by nature. After she died, she transformed into a giant python and entered the palace, appearing in the emperor's dream to beg for his help to save her. The emperor consulted the Buddhist scriptures and created the \*Repentance Ritual of Compassion\* in ten volumes. He invited monks to perform the repentance ceremony. Lady Xi then transformed into a celestial being, thanked the emperor from the sky, and departed. \*A fleeting moment of vast blessings.\*

毛詩曰。神之聽之介爾景福。註介景皆大也。○奕世

後楊秉傳曰。臣奕世受恩。註奕重也。
