> Middle

上品中生。善解心深自不驚。一片氷壺淨。不必持方等。嗏因果信分明。推尊大乘。臺授紫金。合掌飛行騁。觀此勸念佛。同登極樂城。

> For the middle grade of the highest level, with a deep and penetrating understanding of the mind, one remains unshaken. A pure heart, clear as ice in a jade vase, needs no reliance on the Great Equal sutras. <note>Ah!</note> The law of cause and effect is clearly discerned, and one honors the Great Vehicle. The lotus platform is bestowed in purple gold, and with palms joined, one soars through the sky. Observe this and be encouraged to recite the Buddha's name, so that together we may ascend to the city of Ultimate Bliss.
