### 血盆

> Blood Basin

母號鞠我。既全撫育之恩。子之愛親。當報劬勞之德。爰崇上善。仰答生身。伏願母親。千生福長十惡罪消。血盆化作蓮盆。業海飜成法海。今生今世移災星為福星。他日他時從人道歸佛道。地藏能仁祈作證。目連教主望垂慈。

> A mother's love nurtures me, fulfilling the grace of raising me. A child's devotion to parents should repay the debt of their toil. We honor the highest good to repay the kindness of those who gave us life. Humbly, we pray for our mother: may blessings grow through a thousand lives, and may the ten evils dissolve. May the basin of blood transform into a lotus basin, and the ocean of karma turn into a sea of Dharma. In this life, may calamities become blessings. In times to come, may she ascend from the human path to the Buddha's path. We seek Ksitigarbha, the compassionate one, as our witness, and Maudgalyayana, the teacher, to look upon us with mercy.
