> Repentance for Killing

浮生碌碌在樊籠。結作冤讎數莫窮。祈禱鬼神求福力。邀迎賓客逞家風。羽毛剉斫刀砧上。鱗介烹炮鼎鑊中。眾信燃灯伸懺悔。一時超脫步天宮。

> Caught in the cage of this bustling life, we toil without rest. Wrongs and grievances pile up, countless and unending. We pray to spirits and gods, seeking blessings and strength, We host guests and flaunt our family’s pride. Feathers are torn and cut upon the butcher’s block, Scales and shells are boiled and seared within the cauldron’s heat. Now, with sincere hearts, the faithful light lamps and repent, And in that instant, they transcend, ascending to the heavenly palace.
