> Recommendation of Gratitude to One's Mother

登堂不見太夫人 頓使千行淚滿襟來似片雲生晚谷 去同孤月落寒岑回頭證果三千滿 撚指時當五七臨釋子蒙恩何以報 灯燃七級表誠心

> I entered the hall but could not see the Lady Mother, Which instantly made thousands of tears soak my robe. She came like a wisp of cloud emerging from the evening valley, And departed like a lone moon setting beyond the cold ridge. Turning back, one realizes the fruits of awakening are fully complete — A snap of the fingers, and the time of the fifth and seventh weeks has arrived. How can this disciple repay such grace? I light seven tiers of lamps to show my sincere heart.
