### 保苗

> Protect the Seedlings

田疇既播。苗稼方榮。無旱乾水溢之虞。絕稂莠蝗蟲之害。下土感夢魚之兆。上天應覆斗之祥。

> The fields have been sown, and the young crops are flourishing. There is no fear of drought or flood, and no harm from weeds or locusts. The land below responds to the auspicious sign of the dream of fish, while the heavens above answer with the blessing of the overturned dipper.

又

> Furthermore,

秧苗競長。荑稗不生。水旱無虞。蝗螟永息。自從東作千郊碧浪色連天。佇見西成萬頃黃雲濃匝地。家有積倉之喜。人興擊壤之歌。

> The seedlings grow in lively competition, and weeds do not sprout. Floods and droughts cause no worry, and locusts and pests are forever gone. Since the eastern fields began their work, a thousand acres of green waves stretch to the sky; soon, the western harvest will see ten thousand spans of golden clouds thickly covering the earth. Households rejoice in overflowing granaries, and people sing songs of prosperity in the fields.
