劬勞有賴足知生我之恩。酬報未由遽起何怙之歎。唯佛子能伸子道。假聖慈少薦父慈。望埀赦罪之恩。直指往生之路。痛念某人向居塵世纔登六十二年。今返泉臺倐經三十五日。

青春向晚痛嚴君歸壽之辰。朱夏俄臨當孝子酬恩之日。欲薦靈魂度脫。須憑我佛慈悲。敬念某人居人世七十八年。拋幻塵三十五日。欲報生成之德。用憑薦悼之功。

> As youth fades into evening, we honor the solemn anniversary of a beloved father's passing. As summer swiftly arrives, it marks the day for a filial child to repay kindness. To guide the departed soul toward liberation, we must rely on the compassion of the Buddha. With reverence, we recall that <note>someone</note> lived in this mortal world for seventy-eight years, and parted from this fleeting realm thirty-five days ago. Seeking to repay the nurturing grace received, we now rely on the merit of this memorial offering.
