> Offering His Wife

蘭臺人寂徒興舞鏡之悲。鳳閣香鎖爰有鼓盆之歎。伏念亡室某人。夙勤婦道素秘閨儀。本期偕老百年。豈謂遽終一疾。齊眉莫及。結髮徒傷。雲歸仙嶋暮煙寒。花落泉臺春晝永。欲超懿魄。須仗妙緣。梵曲高揚韻續斷絃之奏。爐煙消散香和愁霧之飛。

> Furthermore,

百年偕老將期結髮之親。四大俄空遽起鼓盆之歎。切念亡室素全婦道曲盡閨儀。孝義兩全。宗親俱睦。

> A lifelong bond was promised, a marriage of tied hair to grow old together. Yet the four elements suddenly became empty, and the lament of the overturned basin arose. I deeply recall my late wife, who fully embodied the way of a virtuous woman, perfectly fulfilling the duties of the inner chamber. Filial piety and righteousness were both complete, and she lived in harmony with all relatives.
