> Autumn

愁雲散盡楚天青。木葉凋零惱殺人。時節到來歸去速。擬將何事作前程。恭為亡某人平生恬靜稟賦寬柔。將期享壽百年。豈謂遽終一疾。忽朝時去拂袖便行。要指路頭須憑指示○閃電機鋒石火光。舉頭󳬲子過瀟湘。一言為截輪迴路。金井梧桐葉正黃。

> The sorrowful clouds have scattered, and the sky over Chu is clear. The falling leaves wither, yet they stir distress in people's hearts. When the season arrives, the return comes swiftly— What then shall we plan for the journey ahead? In reverence for the deceased <note>someone</note>, whose life was calm and gentle, endowed with a broad and kind nature. We hoped they would enjoy a long life of a hundred years, but who could have foreseen that a single illness would suddenly end it all? In an instant, the time came, and with a brush of the sleeve, they departed. To point out the path ahead, we must rely on this guidance. A flash of lightning, the clash of flint, the light of fire— Lifting the head, the man has already crossed the Xiao and Xiang rivers. One phrase serves to sever the path of rebirth— By the golden well, the plane tree leaves are now turning yellow.
