> Scholars' Certificate of Ordination

說盡之乎者也四十年枉下工夫。究竟寂滅苦空億万劫願離障礙。回頭猛省。落髮寧辭。要共丹霞同入大法門。不放寶月獨出一頭地。積藏菩薩大家好結歡喜緣。脫俗秀才只今便現圓滿相。

> Forty years spent on scholarly chatter, all wasted effort in vain. Ultimately, all is stillness, extinction, suffering, and emptiness—countless eons, wishing to break free from all obstacles. Turning back in sharp awakening, shaving off hair, willing to depart. Seeking to enter the great path of truth alongside the radiant dawn, not letting the precious moon be the only one to emerge above the rest. Bodhisattvas of hidden virtue, come together in joyful affinity. The lay scholar who has left the mundane, this very moment reveals the perfect form of completion.
