### 釋迦佛

> Shakyamuni Buddha

不即此座。成等正覺。不離此座。成等正覺。入雪山。悟明星。知之者必謂以慈示人。開空花。結空果。不知者將謂實有此作。皇天無親。惟德是輔。此亦名言不及處。借水獻花。不可當面諱却。

> Not by this seat alone does one attain perfect enlightenment, nor apart from it. Entering the Snow Mountains, awakening to the morning star—those who know say this is compassion shown to all, blooming flowers of emptiness, bearing fruits of emptiness. Those who do not know might think there is some real deed here. Heaven has no favorites; it only aids the virtuous. This too lies beyond words. Offering flowers with water borrowed—do not deny it to your face.
